Sara + William

these past few days have consisted of trying to recuperate from last weekend's wedding celebration of 2 dear friends. a group of us took the 4 hour {normally should only be 3} car ride to sunny fond du lac.
it was a weekend consisting of catching up with friends:
seeing the sights of fond du lac:
anyway, lets talk wedding. when every one else is looking at the bride come up the isle, I like to look at the groom. their eyes tell it all.
the couple picked a classy assortment of colors that fit perfectly with the time of year. red + black + white = the theme for their wedding from the invites, to the cupcakes, to the mints on the tables.

Katie + Ryan

May 23rd brought the wedding of my good friends Katie and Ryan. Even with the heat stroke, they were good sports and managed to stay relaxed. The wedding was a beautiful event filled with lively colors and characters.

Katie had all of her 7 girls {6 bridesmaids and personal assistant} to assist her when the time came, whether it was for bustling her dress, giving her support, or worrying about the little details so she wouldn't have to.

The center pieces were classically beautiful with lilies and lilacs. Most of the afternoon was spent on the dance floor whether we were playing a game with the DJ or line dancing. We managed to dance the afternoon away for a few hours, and I think most of us left the wedding ready for a nap.

Amanda + Chad

It was because of this wonderful couple that many of us gathered on Saturday to celebrate with them. The weather couldn't have been better for their amazingly planned wedding! Amanda has been giving us little hints about their wedding over the past few months on her blog, and on Saturday we got to see it all come together!

Amanda certainly has the creative touch and it was very evident with each detail, from the flower arrangements to the color coordinated jelly bellys. It was an honor to get to celebrate with them on their special day, and see them be united in the Lord.

from Roehl to Tiefel....

On October 24, one of my best friends got married. Emily Roehl and Paul Tiefel were married, and forever changed. It was a fun wedding with many friends in town. Joey Reim came for the weekend and we had a blast. Sometimes there can be nothing better that catching up with friends and chatting about memories.

Even though the weekend was filled with bittersweet tears and hard moments, happiness also blossomed out through the difficult moments, even when we had to let go of pieces of our childhood.
