game face

Last night we dusted off our bowling skills and put our game faces on. It was a night of laughs spent with friends and family all celebrating my cousin's 29th birthday!! {Still can't believe that my cousin is 29} The group of {10} spent the night bowling and playing pass the baby Katy around in between each role of the bowling ball. Part 2 of the celebration night consisted of a lovely meal and delightful cake....

handmade card creations

Once in a blue moon I get the golden chance to catch up on my card collection and craft some handmade cards. It doesn't happen too often, but when I do, it is nothing but bliss. Over Christmas break I cranked out dozens of cards, but never had time to share them with the blogging world. So now is my chance to share a few of my creations:

moments in time

As I promised, here are a few moments captured, on tour, by my camera....

to everthing there is a season

My heart is just a little too full to write just yet. It's been a bit of a topsy-turvy week and if you are even a little aware of the past 2 weeks, it might make sense. I am back from Tour Choir, but still not ready to jump back in to reality, so I will just leave you with this....

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8

To everything there is a season,
A time for every purpose under heaven:

A time to be born,
And a time to die;
A time to plant,

And a time to pluck what is planted;
A time to kill,
And a time to heal;

A time to break down,
And a time to build up;
A time to weep,
And a time to laugh;
A time to mourn,
And a time to dance;
A time to cast away stones,
And a time to gather stones;
A time to embrace,
And a time to refrain from embracing;
A time to gain,
And a time to lose;
A time to keep,
And a time to throw away;
A time to tear,
And a time to sew;
A time to keep silence,
And a time to speak;
A time to love,
And a time to hate;
A time of war,
And a time of peace....

4th time's a charm

It's the 4th time packing for this very special upcoming week and it never seems to get easier or more splendidly fun. We've been making packing lists, plans, daydreaming about the upcoming events for months and it's finally getting close. Tour Choir is just around the corner and this will be my 4th blessed year. I'm leaving on Saturday, so I'll be taking a little break from the blogging world, but I will be back in no time with pictures and stories to share.

Here are just a few pictures from the past tours that I've been on, all full of precious memories:

and it comes to a close

After 17 days of amazing athletic competition, last night we had to say good-bye to the 2010 Olympic Winter Games. The past 2 1/2 weeks have been something to remember with their record breaking times and award winning medals.
